Amr Maged Ragheb El-helw

Biography

Eminent personality who is working as professor in Arab academy for science and technology and maritime transport, Egypt. Amr M. Elhelw received Ph.D. degree from Staffordshire University, Faculty of Engineering and technology, UK. He was awarded B.Sc and M.Sc degrees from Arab Academy of Science, Technology Maritime Transport, Collage of Engineering and Technology, Egypt. During his early career he worked as a Researcher and Part Time Lecturer at Staffordshire University. He was granted Gradex 2007 Award for the Best Research Done in 2007 from Staffordshire University. His research work is mainly focused on  telecommunication, digital signal processing, artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, and video and image processing. He is particularly interested in developing new techniques and carrying out high quality research to emphasize real-world applications. He held the university position of quality assurance coordinator.
