Ahmed Wa Shetewy

Biography

Captain A. W. Shetiwy was graduated in the AASTMT for the MSc.degree in Maritime Safety and Fleet Operation in 2010. He applied for the basic studies of Nautical Department at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport from 1987 until 1989. In Jan 1991 he graduated as a 2nd mate foreign going. In 1994 was certified as a chief mate and in 1997 was certified as a master foreign going. Worked on board different types of ships as a chief mate on board break bulk carriers. Finally, Captain A.W. Shetiwy joined the Academy in 2002 as a lecturer in the Maritime Safety Institute.Master Degree in Fleet Operation & Marine Safety in 2010. The lecturer teaches safety and security courses in many Arabic countries i.e. Lebanon, Syria and Saudi Arabia. Captain A. W.
