Biography
Magdy A. Khalaf is a lecturer in the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Egypt. He obtained his PhD degree from AASTMT, Egypt in 2011. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Alexandria University, Egypt in 2000 and M.Sc. in Quality Management from AASTMT, Egypt in 2007. The main topic of his PhD study is the effect of Lean Manufacturing implementation on energy efficiency. In general, his area of expertise is quality management and operations management. This encompasses areas such as the assessment of management systems, restructuring organizational management systems, lean manufacturing implementation, and service quality.
