Biography
Marwa H. Khalil is an assistant professor at the Department of Architectural Engineering and Environmental Design, Arab Academy for Science and Technology & Maritime Transport – Cairo- Egypt. Marwa completed her undergraduate studies at Cairo University in 2000 and obtained her Master’s degree in Architecture from Cairo University in 2003. Then she was awarded her Ph.D. degree in Architecture from Cairo University in 2007. Her research interests include urban related issues, philosophy & development of place, participatory & community design and architectural education. Marwa is also a licensed architect in Egypt and has previously worked for various architectural firms in Cairo. She has also participated in different architectural design competition Marwa H.
