Biography

Marwa Mohamed Abd Allah is an ESP Coordinator at the Institute for Language Studies, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. She graduated from the Faculty of Education, Department of English with a good grade and pursued her post-graduate studies in the Faculty of Arts, the linguistics and translation section. She joined the staff of the ILS in 2008 as a part-time instructor, then as a full-time in 2008 and taught many ESP courses in different colleges: Maritime, Business and Administration, Tourism, Fisheries and Engineering. She is also a certified Cambridge peaking examiner, a member in the translation and material development divisions, and teaches evening classes preparing for the TOEFL IBT. Marwa used to be a freelance writer at the Cairo-based Identity Magazine and has a passion for music, art, literature and filmmaking.
