Biography
Eng. Deena earned her B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering in 2010 from Cairo University,with very good with honours. She earned her M.Sc. in "Virtual Reality as a display tool in Architecture of Museums" in 2013 from Cairo University. In She worked as a research student at Cairo university and different academies since her graduation. During the period from 2010 till 2015, Deena joined several competitions and workshops in Urban Design at TU Berlin-2010, Insensitive architectural responsive material and fabrication at UIC Universitat Internacional de Catalonia in Spain-2013, She joined the British University in Egypt (BUE) in 2012. Deena won a Silver Award in February 2014, in the competition of EFEC "Egypt Design + Industry 2014", with a real scale bench.
Research Interest
Main Fields interest are New trends in architectural design, theories of architecture, Fabrication and Responsive skin performance, Parametric and Algorithmic Design, CNC Manufacturing, Lazer cutting, Material Behaviour, Urban Design and Virtual Reality technology.
