Biography
Dr.Mariam Gibriel obtained her PhD in TEFL from Cairo University, Thesis Title: "Vocabulary learning strategies and the factors Influencing Egyptian EFL students' strategy use and vocabulary size". She received her Master's degree in TEFL from Ain –Shams University. Dr.Mariam earned a Diploma in Education from Ain-Shams University.She got her B.A & Education from the Faculty of Women for Arts Science and Education, Ain -Shams University ( top third). Dr.Mariam joined the BUE in September, 2013. She is currently the Module leader for the Intermediate 1 course. She has worked in many Egyptian universities. Dr.Mariam received the first poster award from the R'09 Twin World Congress & World Resources Forum in Switzerland (2009), where she gave a talk on her research "The role of English stories in enhancing Environmental Literacy"
