Mohammed Eldesoqi

Biography

Eng. El-desoqi currently works as Teaching Assistant in the Civil Engineering department at the British University in Egypt. In 2016, he worked as a structural engineer in high rise concrete buildings at MSCE structural department. the main objective of this project is to understand the full process of designing a reinforced concrete structure using dedicated software. In 2015, he worked as a structural engineer at Dar Al-Handasah headquarter for an internship program. During that time, he practiced computer modelling of Steel Structures under several types of lateral loads such as seismic and wind loads using STAAD pro software, analysis and design of structures elements under static and dynamic loads using AISC, ASCE and UBC international codes. In 2013, Eng. El-desoqi went through a field training program at one of the mega projects supervised by ORASCOM construction industries “Haroon Metro Station” where he practiced the duties of a site engineer learning new skills and engineering operations. Eng. El-desoqi earned his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with a grade of first class w/honours from the British University in Egypt in 2016. He is currently enrolled in the M.Sc. program at Cairo University.
