Biography
Eng. Nourhan earned her B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering in 2008 from Cairo University, with grade Very Good with Honor and graduation project grade Excellent. After graduation, She studied a diploma in Environmental Design at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Technology from September 2008 till July 2009, right after she joined the British University in September 2008. She earned her master’s degree from Cairo University in Environmental Design. She accomplished her pre-master’s courses in Environmental design and control with overall grade A+. Her thesis was concerned with developing a simulation model to study the impact of different greening systems and how to integrate these systems into the architecture practice in Egypt. Nourhan research focus during the past year is focused on different envelope design strategies using energy simulation and recently more in-depth research into the field of Urban Ecology.
