Biography
Bio: Eng. Elmeligy currently works as Teaching Assistant in the Civil Engineering department at the British University in Egypt. In 2015, he worked as a structural engineer at ECG SA consultant office for an internship program. During that time he practiced computer modelling, analysis and design of structures under static and dynamic loads using dedicated software. In addition, he got other internships at some design offices. In 2013 and 2014, Eng. Elmeligy went through training programmes at ECG SA, where he practiced the duties of a field engineer at Hyde Park (Fifth Community) and Etisalat Misr Head Quarters (Smart Village) learning new skills and engineering operations. Eng. Elmeligy earned his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with a grade of first class w/honours from the British University in Egypt in 2016 being ranked first of his cohort. He is now preparing his Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering at Cairo University.
Research Interest
Smart Structural Systems, Fuzzy Logic, Structural Control, Structural Dynamics, Concrete Structures and Seismic Analysis.
