Education History: • Founding Dean & Head of Council,Faculty of Dentistry at the British University in Egypt. • Professor Emeritus of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University. • First Vice President and President Elect of Deans of Dental Schools of Africa. • Associate Trustee in the Arab Dental Federation (Official organization of the League of Arab States). • Planner expertise in the Dental Sector Committee, Supreme Council of Universities. •President of the Egyptian Dental Association (EDA). • President, Platform of Collaborating Neighboring Countries (an official committee, Turkish Dental Association). •Member of the Supreme Committee of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities. • Executive member in the Pain Academy Association. • Board member in the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Dentistry at Suez Canal University and Modern Science and Art University. • Chief Editor of Egyptian Dental Journal ( EDJ). • Board member of the Permanent Committee for Promotion of Professors of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Al Azhar University. • Former President in the Permanent Committee for Promotion of Professors of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Supreme Council of Universities(2003-2012). • Former Vice Dean for Post-Graduate Studies and Research, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University (1990-1996). • Former Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University( 2000-2006). • Appointed full Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1986. (Supreme Council of Universities).
