Biography
Dr. Mohammad Abdel Aleem is Professor of Cardio Thoracic Surgery at Kaser Al Ayni Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. He was graduated (1977) got his M. Sc General Surgery (1981) and M.D. Cardio_Thoracic surgery (1988). He had research work in both Cardiac and Thoracic surgery. His main domain is Thoracic surgery and he is the Head of Thoracic Surgery Unit at Cairo University Hospitals from 1988 till 2013 when he became an Emeritus Professor at the Department of Cardio_Thoracic Surgery. He consider Thoracic surgery is a challenging branch, very interesting and needs excellent talent and needs tedious hand craft .That is why Thoracic Surgery is his hobby during his clinical life. He has published a local book (Spot lights on Thoracic Trauma) that helps both under and post-graduates in their career and all surgeons dealing with trauma. He was honoured and proud of teaching most of the Thoracic surgeons allover Egypt the art of Thoracic Surgery.
