Biography
Dr. Johann Engelbrecht, Research Professor Emeritus in the Division of Atmospheric Sciences (DAS) at the Desert Research Institute (DRI), has more than 25 years’ experience in air quality studies in South Africa, U.S.A, and elsewhere, and more than 40 years’ experience in Geology, Geochemistry, and Mineralogy. His qualifications in the Earth Sciences (Mineralogy, Geochemistry, Geology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Statistics) and experience in Program Management allows him to participate in a variety of multidisciplinary air quality and other environmental projects.
