Biography
Dr. Paul Cropper joined DRI in the spring of 2016 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. He is responsible for conducting method development with new chemical techniques, including further development of the DRI Model 2015 Multiwavelength Thermal/Optical Carbon Analyzer. His current research interests also include brown carbon characterization and quantification, charring of biomass burning emissions, and analyzing wood smoke markers, organic acids, inorganic ions, and polar and nonpolar organic carbon compounds
