Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt, with an "Excellent with honors"October 2000   Career History:  (Jan. 2008 - Present):Lecturer of Medical Microbiology & Immunology, Department of Medical Microbiology &Immunology, Faculty of Medicine (Kasr EI-Aini), Cairo University, Egypt.     Courses taught: Medical Microbiology & immunology (practical sessions) to undergraduate students of the Faculty of               Medicine,Cairo University,Egypt. Medical Microbiology & immunology (practical sessions) to undergraduate students of the Faculty of Oral & Dental Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. Medical Microbiology to student of the School Of Nursing, Cairo University, Egypt.  Medical Microbiology & Immunology (practical sessions) to post –graduate students of Faculty of Medicine, and Faculty of Oral&   Dental Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. (2006 - 2008):Member of the Infection Control Team, Cairo University Hospital of Kasr El-Ain, Egypt Participated in conduction of different outbreak investigations in burn section & chest ICU of Cairo University Hospitals. Actively involved in the daily duties of the Infection Control Laboratory under supervision and guidance of the Infection Control    Committee of Cairo University Hospitals. Received Training of Trainers (TOT) program, as a member of Infection Control program. (Jan 2007 – June 2008):Microbiologist at Tieba Laboratory        Diagnosis of bacteriological samples including urine, stool, pus, sputum.......etc samples.       Training to handle parasitic and blood samples. (April 2004-Jan 2008):Teaching Assistant, Department of Medical Microbiology &Immunology, Faculty of Medicine(Kasr El-Aini), Cairo University, Egypt.          Assigned to preparing materials for the practical courses in the subject of Medical Microbiology & Immunology for undergraduate students at the Faculty of Medicine, and the Faculty of Oral & Dental Medicine, Cairo University (March 2001-April 2002):House officer, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University Hospitals, Egypt. I spent one year at Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University as a house officer in the following departments:        Internal Medicine (March - April 2001), I got experience in the following:         Clinical examination.        Management of dehydration, diarrhea, hyper/hypoglycemia, renal colic, asthma, upper   respiratory tract infection, hypertension, constipation, anemia, cough, anxiety,migraine, urinary tract infections,   gastro  esophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer, gout,and arthritis.        Placement of nasogastric tube, electrocardiogram, placing of i.v. cannula.        Gynecology and Obstetrics (May -June 2001):         I have good experience in antenatal care and normal delivery.        Pediatrics (July - August 2001):         Neonatology, nephrology unit and venous sampling from children        Surgery, (September - October 2001) I have experience in the following:          Infiltration anesthesia.         Abscess incision and drainage.          Management of burns.          Laceration repair.        Accident and emergency (November - December 2001):      Management of acute medical emergencies such as: headache, breathlessness, shock,  Anaphylactic shock, heart                failure, status asthmaticus, pneumonia, G.T. bleeding, raised intracranial pressure,   diabetic acidosis, head injury,    salicylate and paracetamol poisoning.       Chemical pathology Department (January2002).        Neurophysiology Department (April 2002)   Conferences and meetings: The 14th International Conference of The Egyptian society for Medical Microbiology (ESMM), 13th April 2006, Cairo, Egypt
