Doaa Talha

Biography

"Dr. Doaa Talha is currently a Lecturer in Medical Equipment Technology Department in the Faculty Of Allied Medical Sciences, Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA). The Ph.D degree is in Medical Biophysics, Medical Research Institute, University of Alexandria. Her Ph.D thesis title was ‘ The Use of Iron – Oxide Nanoparticles in Hyperthermia Of Ehrlich Tumor’.Which is considered a new way to treat cancer without any side effects. She got her Master Sciences (M.Sc.) degree in Medical Biophysics Department, Medical Research Institute, University of Alexandria. Her M.Sc. thesis title: ‘Modification of the rotating arc plasma jet for the determination of trace elements in biological samples.’ She got her B.SC. degree in Special-chemistry, Faculty of Science, Alexandria University. She also Attended a number of Workshops in the Education Development Center (EDC) and Quality Assurance in PUA. She was an active participant in the preparation and execution of some Workshop on (Nanotechnology and Biomedical Applications in Cancer) held at the Medical Technology Center. She is a Self-learner, has team work & leadership skills, has time management skills and can work under pressure and has Negotiation and Volunteering experience.

Nanotechnology, Preparation of Nanoparticles and their Medical Application – Drug Release. Cancer Treatment.
