Biography

Dr. Nagwa Abd El-Dayem is currently a Lecturer in the Medical Laboratory Technology Department in the Allied Medical Science Faculty, Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) Her Phd. thesis title was “Synthesis of some new nucleoside derivatives and study their structures as well as evaluation of their biological activity”.Dr. Nagwa got her Master of Science (M.SC.) Degree in the Organic Chemistry, Chemistry Department, a grant from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. Her M.Sc. thesis title was “Synthesis of C-nucleoside derivatives and study their biological activities”. Dr. Nagwa got her B.SC. Degree in Chemistry-Biochemistry, Chemistry department, Faculty of Science, Alexandria University. In addition to her academic work from year 2005 till 2010, she worked as Demonstrator in Faculty of Science and Faculty of Education, Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt. And Assistant Lecturer in both Faculty of Science, Alexandria University and Faculty of Dentistry, Pharos University in Alexandria, Egypt in 2010-2011.

Glycosides – Nucleosides – Aliphatic and aromatic compounds –Carbohydrates.
