Biography
Dr. Hashemi is currently providing his services as an Assistant Professor at Department of Immunology, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Iran. He completed his PhD degree in the year 2012. He is the winner of 17th Razi Research Festival on Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran, 2012 And the second winner of 17th Razi Research Festival on Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran, 2011. He has authored in more than 35 publications in reputed national and international journals. His scientific skills include: Stem cell (in vitro and in vivo studies), Establishment, Culture and differentiation of human and mouse embryonic stem cell, Isolation, culture, expansion and differentiation of bone marrow adipose tissue, and cord blood mesenchymal stem cells and hematopoietic stem cells, 3-D culture of stem cells, Proliferation assay (MTT, LTT), DTH, Western blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Production of monoclonal antibody, Cellular and Molecular Biology Methods: Cell Culture (Macrophages, Spleenocytes and cell lines), Nitric oxide assay, Electrophoresis, Care and handling of laboratory animals: Laboratory animal research–General maintenance, dissection, tissue isolation, primary cell isolation
