Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Abd el Rahman is an Assistant Professor at Department Of Physics , Sohag University . His work deals with Crystal Structur, Plasma Applications, Physical Electronics, and Solid State Physics.
Research Interest
Materials Surface Treatment and Deposition using Plasma and Ion Based Techniques including Nitriding and Carbonitriding for Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel and Titanium Aluminum Alloys and Hard Coatings of TiN and TiAlN and Nanocomposite Deposited Materials of Ti-Si-C-N and Ti-Al-V-Si-C-N. This to improve the performance of modern machinery (higher power, speed, efficiency, etc.) and the components exposed to harsher environments in which severe wear, erosion, corrosion and/or oxidation occur rapidly.
