Biography
Azzazy is professor of chemistry at The American University in Cairo. He is also director of the graduate chemistry program and leader of the Novel Diagnostics and Therapeutics research group at the Yousef Jameel Science and Technology Research Center. In addition, Azzazy serves as an adjunct professor at the Graduate School of Biotechnology, University of Maryland University College. He is a member of the editorial boards of the Clinical Biochemistry, Clin Chimica Acta and Clinical Chemistry Laboratory Medicine journals. He has published more than 120 articles, book chapters, conference abstracts and monographs in international journals and textbooks.
