Biography
FakhrElDin is an assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science at the BUE since September 2007. She is currently the Acting Vice Dean for Teaching and Learning since Novemeber 2013 and has been the Programme Director of the Business Department since 2011. She is and has been the member of several university committees for developing staff and structures. She teaches International Business and International Management as well as Organisational Behaviour and modules related to Middle Eastern & International Economics. Her graduate studies focused on organisational Theory and Development with an emphasis on Knowledge Management, while her undergraduate studies were in Middle Eastern Studies. She obtained her Ph.D. from Cairo University, and her M.A. and B.A. degrees from the American University in Cairo. After obtaining her Doctorate she lectured in “Organisational Theory" to graduate students in Cairo University. She has also undertaken consultancies in organisational development in private Egyptian companies as well as in governmental ministries. She is CIDA Egypt Knowledge Management Advisor since January 2010. While pursuing her graduate studies she worked in the field of educational exchange and organising and administering in-country - as well as oversees - training of academics and professionals. She participated in several national and international conferences in International Business and in Knowledge Management and published several papers in international journals and/or in proceedings of international conferences.
