Biography
Matti is a world-leading SOFC expert. He has developed deep experience in designing and evaluating SOFC stacks and systems for a variety of applications. He has spent his career specializing in fuel cells (SOFC and PEM), thermodynamics, multi-physics, and electrochemistry. Previously, he was a Manager of Product Platforms for Wärtsilä Finland Oy in the fuel cell department, where he was responsible for leading the SOFC system product development team. He also worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and was responsible for SOFC cell and stack development. Matti has over 50 publications and patent applications in the fuel cell field.
