Dagmawit Tewahido

Biography

Dagmawit Tewahido is a public health expert and Head of Projects coordination office of Addis Continental Institute of Public Health. She earned a Bsc. in public health (Haramaya University, 2007) and Master’s degree of Public Health, MPH, (Haramaya University, 2014) She has served in a governmental rural hospital as Outpatient Department and Wards Clinician, as well as OPD case-team leader in Oromia region, Western Hararge Gelemso Hospital (2007 - 2010). Dagmawit has attended different workshops/trainings regarding public health and was awarded certificates. She has also taken a certified training in M&E of Population, Health and Nutrition. She is Regular member of Ethiopian Public Health Association (since 2009) and Member of the Ethiopian Red Cross society (since2012). Currently she is engaged in academics and research activities; especially engrossed in qualitative research activities. She has data manipulation and report writing skills. She is also a graduate assistant in selected courses such as M &E, Health Promotion and Qualitative Methods. Dagmawit is involved in various research activities and projects conducted in ACIPH.
