Biography
Mr. Yared Paulos is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology. He initially joined the University of Gondar as a student in 2005, where he gained his BA degree in Sociology. He went on to join the Department of Sociology as a Lecturer in 2007 and taught a range of course before leaving to pursue his graduate studies. He gained his MA in Sociology (with specialization in health and well-being) from Addis Ababa University in 2011 and returned to Lecture within the Department of Sociology. He has been undertaking a range of activities including teaching, conducting research, advising and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as giving training. He also serves as coordinator of postgraduate program in School of Sociology and Social Work.
Research Interest
His main research interest is in the area of reproductive health, traditional medicine, street children, and disability
