Abhikesh Kumar is working as a lecturer in School of Engineering and Physics at The University of the South Pacific, Fiji.
Research Interest
Using Very Low Frequency (VLF) radio wave Communication techniques in remote sensing the lower ionosphere, Studying the effects of lightning discharges (Transient luminous events, TLEs) such as Sprites and Elves, solar flares, geomagnetic storms, solar eclipses & earthquakes on the lower ionosphere and VLF communication, Using World Wide Lightning Location Network (WWLLN) in storm/cyclone activity analysis and rapid intensity changes, interest in weather monitoring
