Biography
Dr. Jenny Tonsing earned her PhD from Royal Holloway University of London. Jenny has lived and worked in India, Hong Kong, England, Singapore and currently in Fiji. The cross-cultural experiences have broadened her perspectives and respect diversity in all forms. Jenny received her Master Degree in Social Work (Hong Kong). Her Practice experience includes working with individuals and families from diverse ethnic groups and socio-cultural background.
Research Interest
Her areas of research interest focuses on cross-cultural issues in domestic violence, examining dynamics associated with women’s experience of abuse in an intimate relationship, and the impact of abuse on women and children psychological well-being.
