Samantha Naidu

Biography

Samantha joined the School of Management & Public Administration in February 2017 as a Teaching Assistant. However, since 2014, she has been affiliated with the School as a Part time Marker. She has graduated from USP with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Management/Public Administration, Post-graduate Diploma in Management and Public Administration and has completed a Master of Commerce degree in Management and Public Administration. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Management and Public Administration. Samantha has completed her secondary education at Saint Joseph’s Secondary School and primary education at Saint Anne’s Primary School. Prior to joining USP, Samantha has worked in both the public and private sectors of Fiji. She started her career at FijiCare Insurance Ltd and later worked at renowned organisations like the Pacific Community (SPC) and the Consumer Council of Fiji where she held a managerial position that focused in the area of research and policy analysis. Samantha has gained relevant experience in research, communications and marketing and has traveled to certain parts of the South Pacific where she had the opportunity to interact with Pacific Islanders and discuss with them issues affecting their livelihood.
