Dr. Sammy Toyoki an Assistant Professor at the Marketing Department. He is also the director of the MSc in Marketing program. He teach mainly courses to do with Consumer Culture and Qualitative Research Methods. His research interests revolve primarily around consumer culture theory, identity and organization. Recently, he have focused on the role of consumption and identity work within organizational and institutional contexts, thus combining the interest areas of consumer research and organization theory. He is also interested in temporality as it relates to experience, practice, organization, and consumer culture in general.
