Biography
"Nino da Silva (b. 1971) is a member of the board of directors of BCB Medical Oy, HLM Ab and Gourmetgruppen Sverige Ab. Mr. da Silva is an entrepreneur and business executive with extensive experience in the field of medical IT and informatics. He has proven expertise in international sales and brand building, as well as internationalization of products and concepts. During the last 20 years, Mr. da Silva has worked with several global medical technology and software companies such as Mitra, Agfa Healthcare, GE Healthcare, Siemens Healthcare and Philips Healthcare. In 2005 Mr. da Silva was appointed the CEO of eCare, a Swedish R&D company in the field of medical informatics and health care decision support systems. Mr. da Silva studied medical technology, as well as marketing and economics. He is a co-author on several scientific abstracts and articles published in journals and congresses over the years."
