Biography
He is director at European Forest Institute. Marc Palahí is an expert on forests, one of the vanguard fields of the circular economy. In many ways, forests are a case study of the circular economy, from management of resources to the use of waste. Marc Palahí is an expert on the topic and has experience from Mediterranean woodlands to boreal forests. He has written influential articles about adapting forest management to climate change, ways to strengthen national forest policies, and how forests serve water-related ecosystems.
