Biography
MD, Physician by training. MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Kuo has completed a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology. His earlier positions include CEO positions in Biomicro Systems, Inc., Synthetic Biologics, Inc. Prior to that, he was CEO of Discovery Laboratories, Inc. after having worked as Associate Director in corporate licensing and development at Pfizer Inc. Currently serves as Chairman of the Board at Athena Bioventures in La Jolla, CA.
