Biography
Katariina Koikkalainen has over 10 years of experience in environmental research and has specialized in environmental and health risk assessments, and ecological risk assessments. Currently she works as a project manager and specialist in projects involving risk assessments of contaminated soil, surface water and sediments and utilization of industrial byproducts and waste materials.Katariina also has experience in environmental monitoring, risk assessments and environmental impacts of metal mines and has been the project manager for a large environmental monitoring project of Terrafame mine since 2014
