Biography
Minna Koistinen works as a Geotechnical Designer in geotechnical and waste management projects. She has seven years of experience of research, teaching and design in environmental geotechnology. She has specialized in migration and sorption of contaminants in landfill and soil structures and water flow modeling in landfills. Minna also has experience in geotechnical laboratory tests and solubility and sorption tests. In conventional geotechnics, Minna has experience especially of geotechnical calculations (settlement, stability, supported excavations) and geotechnical infrastructures (water and sewer, landfills, roads). She also has experience in geosynthetic materials, design of subgrade reinforcement with stabilization and dam safety issues.
