Biography
Mr. Sakari Salonen has over 30 years of experience in environmental engineering and consulting. He has extensive experience in the management of great variety of waste types and in waste processing methods and in the management of contaminated areas. He has been responsible for projects on the development of hazardous waste treatment and soil remediation services and treatment processes. He has also been responsible for the management of full scale remediation projects. At Ramboll he worked in 1998-2016 as department manager and sector director of environment & health services He has worked as project manager and senior expert in projects concerning waste management, soil remediation, environmental risk assessment, environmental due diligence (EDD) and environmental impact assessment (EIA) in Finland, Baltic countries and Russia.
