He is also a academy research fellow at the Biomedical Imaging Unit, Department of Neurobiology, A.I. Virtanen Institute for Molecular Sciences, University of Eastern Finland (Kuopio, Finland) (2014-present). He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at “Alberto Sols” Biomedical Research Institute (CSIC/UAM) in Madrid, Spain.
