Biography
My research interests are mainly historical thinking, historical consciousness, teaching and learning history. In my doctoral dissertation I study historical thinking in lower secondary school. I focus on how students’ historical thinking is shaped by and constructed in the interplay between collective memory, public history, the structures of the school system and students’ and teachers’ ideas on history.
