Biography
Born in London, I grew up in Brussels, where I started my career in administration. I worked in England as a senior secretary/translator, before gaining a BA (Hons) in French and an MA in Applied Language Studies at Kent. I have taught French at Kent since 2004, and completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) in 2010. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I have been involved in various projects in the School of European Culture and Languages, including the organisation of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP) Business French exams, and the creation of electronic language learning resources. My interests include translation and linguistic issues, and French and international cinema.
