Biography
Dr. Reija Hietala is a Adjunct Professor in Department of Geography and Geology, University of Turku. She is currently working on the project named 'CB354 SustainBaltic: ICZM Plans for Sustaining Coastal and Marine Human-ecological Networks in the Baltic Region' under EU Interreg Central Baltic Programme .
Research Interest
Agricultural geography: Management of agri-environments and policy implications, Global food security, Urban agriculture, Visual monitoring of landscapes, Landscape ecological GIS methods.
