Biography

Mrs. Joy A. Amundson serves as the Principal of Amundson Partners, Inc. Mrs. Amundson served as President of Baxter BioScience Inc. She served as President of Baxter World Trade Corporation and Bioscience Business at Baxter International Inc. from August 2004 to October 12, 2010. She served as Corporate Vice President of Baxter International Inc. from August 2004 to October 12, 2010. She served as Corporate Vice President and President of BioScience at Baxter Healthcare Corporation. She served as President of Bioscience at Baxter Healthcare Corporation. Mrs. Amundson served as President of Baxter World Trade Corporation; Member of the Management Board of BioLife, LLC. Mrs. Amundson served in a variety of executive management positions during her 20-year career at Abbott Laboratories from 1982 to 2001. For more than seven years she served as a Senior Vice President of the corporation including President of ROSS Nutritional Products and held other executive positions in medication delivery, pharmaceuticals and corporate marketing. Mrs. Amundson began her business career in sales and brand management with Procter & Gamble from 1977 to 1982; a packaged goods company headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. During her career Mrs. Amundson has been active in numerous industry and community organizations-including 20 years of volunteer leadership at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, IL. She was Chairperson of Baxter's Corporate Responsibility Office and Chairperson of BAXPAC. She served as Chairman of ILEX Oncology Inc. since May 2003. She has been an Independent Director of ABIVAX S.A. since July 30, 2014. She served as Director of Apatech. She served as an Independent Director of INAMED Corp. She served as a Director of Oridion Systems Ltd. She served as a Director of Covidien Plc from June 14, 2012 to January 26, 2015. She served as an Independent Director of The DIAL Corporation since 1997. She serves as Member of the Management Resource Board of Linden LLC. She served as Director of ILEX Oncology Inc. since May 2002. Mrs. Amundson earned a Masters In Management degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Advertising from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
