Biography
Pierre Le Sourd is a cardiologist who obtained his M.D. diploma from Columbia University, New York. Since then he has occupied high-ranking positions in the pharmaceuticals industry including General Director at Specia Laboratories, Marketing Director for Europe at Rhone Poulenc Rorer), General Director of Jouveinal Group, President of Bristol-Myers Squibb (French Division) and President of the Union de Pharmacologie Scientifique Appliquée (UPSA) Group between 1997-2006. Pierre Le Sourd was President of LEEM (professionnal syndicate of the pharmaceutical industry) and of LEEM Recherche (LEEM Research division) in the years 2004-2006. He was appointed in April 2006 to Vice-President of the FEFIS (French Federation of Health Industries) and is administrator of the French Medical Automobile-Club. Pierre Le Sourd has joined Advanced Biodesign’s Board and will provide his experience and advice to the team at Advanced BioDesign in the pharmaceutical, marketing and financial fields.
