Biography
Coming from the field of Applied Physics, Jérémie Gachelin holds a Master’s degree in Complex Systems (Denis Diderot University, Paris). After a PhD in Physics, he worked for three years in the PMMH laboratory in Paris and the Departemento de Physica at the Universidad de Chile on an experimental and digital study of the interactions between micro-swimmers (i.e. E. Coli bacteria). This study included the analysis from a physicist point of view of theeffects of the presence of a surrounding flow using microfluidic devices. Jérémie has therefore developed expertise in microfluidics, microbiology, and digital simulations for applications in physics.
