Biography
After obtaining a Master's degree in Genetics and Developmental Biology at the University of Auvergne, Sandra dedicated her thesis to the development of an innovative technique to preserve female fertility in the context of cancer treatment. Eager to pursue research with therapeutic purposes, Sandra completed a 2-year post-doctoral training at the CNRS in Paris in order to study the mechanisms blood stem cells expansion in vitro. In 2014, Sandra was recognized for the quality and the clinical significance of her research by a prestigious award from the L'Oréal Foundation in partnership with the French Commission for UNESCO and the Academy of Sciences.
