He then completed a 3-year post-doctoral internship in Dr. Mark Bevan's lab, first at the University of Tennessee in Memphis and then at Northwestern University in Chicago. In Dr. Bevan's laboratory, he improved his expertise in electrophysiology on simplified brain preparations while pursuing the themes studied during his thesis. In January 2006, he joined, as part of a second post-doctoral internship, the Cellular Physiology of Receptors group headed by Dr. Maurice Garret before being recruited to the CNRS in October 2006 in this same team in order to develop electrophysiological approaches on the brains. He obtained an ANR Young Researcher in 2009, allowing me to develop a new research project centered on the globus pallidus and he took the lead of a research team when the Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases
