Biography
My dealings with the department began in late 2011 when I was privileged to be among the inaugural intake of the Trauma Sciences MSc programme at Barts and the London School of Medicine led by Professor Karim Brohi. The Trauma Sciences MSc fanned the flames of my passion for trauma and I’m excited to have been given the opportunity to take my interest a step further and pursue a PhD in this world-class organisation. Away from academia I can often be found on many a weekend manning the medical car at Brands Hatch and Silverstone race circuits. I’ve also been lucky enough to go out on a number of flying observer shifts with air ambulance services in London, Essex and Kent, Surrey & Sussex. When not working I enjoy travelling, cooking and spending time with my wife and 2 kids.
