Philippe Thel

Biography

Philippe THEL spent his whole career in the BNP Paribas group. He started in Paribas’ Corporate network in 1979, and had various responsibilities before his appointment as head of the Construction, Engineering and Concessions sector – Large Corporates. In this capacity, he was a member of Cofiroute’s technical and financial committee and was involved in the study of large infrastructure projects. Philippe then joined Paribas’ Real Estate Finance department. In 2003, he was appointed head of BNP Paribas CIB’s (Corporate & Institutional Banking) Real Estate Finance for France, and from 2006 to 2015 for Europe. From 2006 to 2014 Philippe was a member of Klépierre’s board of directors, he also was on the board of BNP Paribas Immobilier (which later became BNP Paribas Real Estate) at the beginning of the 2000s, and a member of the Supervisory Board from 2004 to 2015. Finally, Philippe is Chairman of the “Institut du Financement des Professionnels de l’Immobilier”. At BNP Paribas Real Estate Appointed Senior Advisor at BNP Paris Real Estate in 2017 Philippe Thel has three main strategic missions to ensure BNP Paribas Real Estate’s development: to follow large investor clients, to increase links with BNP Paribas and to remain in close contact with financing teams in order to better meet client needs. Education Philippe Thel Graduated from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Toulouse.
