Biography
René Metz began his career at Meunier (now BNP Paribas Real Estate), where he was Program Director. He then joined the headquarters of BNP Paribas, where he was in charge of real estate financing for large developers, bank financing and investments. In 2000, he was named President of PFI (Participations Financières Immobilière in French, or Real Estate Financial Investments) for BNP Paribas, and later General Director for Meunier Developments. He became General Director of Meunier Habitat in 2006, and then President of Habitat and Espaces Immobiliers BNP Paribas in 2007. He was made President of BNP Paribas Immobilier (residential real estate) in 2008, and President of BNP Paribas Real Estate Financial Partner in 2011 before becoming Global Head of Risks in 2016. Education René Metz has a Law and Management degree from the University of Paris-Panthéon Sorbonne.
