Biography
Nehal Raj is a Partner of TPG. He is a leader of the firm’s investing activities in the technology sector. Prior to joining TPG in 2006, Mr. Raj was an investor at Francisco Partners, a private equity firm focused on the technology industry, where he was involved with the firm’s investment in OfficeTiger (acquired by RR Donnelley). Previously, Mr. Raj worked in the Mergers, Acquisitions and Restructurings Department of Morgan Stanley, where he specialized in advising technology companies. Mr. Raj received an M.B.A. with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. Mr. Raj also received an A.B. with Distinction in Economics and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management from Stanford University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Raj is currently a director of C3 IoT, CCC Information Services, Domo, Noodle Analytics (Chairman), Sutherland Global Services and Zscaler. Mr. Raj previously was a director of Aptina Imaging (acquired by ON Semiconductor), Decision Insight Information Group (acquired by CoreLogic), IMS Health (NYSE: IMS), Intergraph (acquired by Hexagon AB) and Symbility Solutions (TSX-V: SY). Mr. Raj also serves on the Board of Trustees of San Francisco Day School and on the Advisory Board of Breakthrough San Francisco.
