Biography
Sean Safford taught organizational theory and strategy at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. He has also taught at the London School of Economics and Political Science and at the Warton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on social, economic and technological developments, particularly in economies with mature industrialization, as well as on the historical analysis of social networks. As a research leader in the LIS project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology , he studied the role of universities in the economic development of several countries in the world, including the United States.
