Biography
Dr. Gerly van der Vleuten has been working in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry for over eight years. As a clinical data manager she was involved in the creation of CRFs, setting up clinical databases within several clinical data management systems, validation of data, coding of medical information, QC of statistical programming and output and improvement of processes including SOP writing. Later, in the role of Clinical PKPD Scientist she was responsible for the validation and merging of NONMEM data sets for pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling and PK datasets for NCA analyses, using SAS. She joined Certara (formerly Quantitative Solutions) in 2014. Dr. Gerly van der Vleuten received her PhD in Medical Biology from the University of Nijmegen in 2007. Genetic linkage analysis and other genetic epidemiologic analysis were part of her thesis. Gerly has published frequently in peer review journals and is a registered Epidemiologist. In her spare time, Gerly enjoys archery, photography, camping, reading and hanging out with her kids.
