Biography
Huub Jan Kleijn joined Certara (formerly Quantitative Solutions) in July 2014, bringing 20 years of drug development experience in pharmaceutical industry (Organon, Schering-Plough and Merck). He has a background in clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling & simulation and is used to effectively work in a matrix, multi-disciplinary, global R&D organization. His focus is on setting up and execution of PK/PD M&S strategies to facilitate efficient quantitative drug development from early development through full clinical development. While having been involved in various therapeutic areas. Huub Jan obtained his masters degree in chemistry at the Utrecht University in 2001. He is married and a father of three, in his spare time he likes to hang out with his family, enjoys traveling, camping and a good game of volleyball.
